Connection Groups

Connection Groups

In times of need and times of fun, connection groups are your source of friendship and support. They are your key to developing connections with those who share your interests or are dealing with similar life issues. Small groups are an opportunity to reach out to others, while growing in your walk with the Lord.

Groups meet once a week in homes, businesses, or at restaurants. The groups change and begin again three times a year, so you have the opportunity to try out different ones. You'll never fully experience all that Connection Church has to offer until you connect in a small group!

'Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.' - Acts 5:42

Small groups were vital to the church's growth then, and they are just as vital now. Join one today.

What are the groups about?

Our groups are as varied as we are; group leaders use their gifts and passions to create a group that allows others to join with them in serving God.

When can I join?

Our Connection Groups are currently in formation with new groups set to start in the spring of 2009.

Connection Couples

Connection Couples provides opportunities where couples from all ages and walks of life can meet over a meal, discuss common issues, enjoy each other’s company and learn how to be a stronger couple, parent, and friend in the process. Please check the Connection Church events calendar for the next upcoming Connection Couples Date Night!

The Connection Couples Challenge

In-between each Connection Couples Date Night, we challenge you to take your spouse on another date - whether it be dinner, lunch, breakfast or an "adventure" date! Need some ideas? Try one of these:

  • Go to a theme park and clutch each other on the scary rides.
  • Perform a duet at a karaoke bar.
  • Take a scultping or drawing class together or go to a store where you can paint pottery.
  • Act like tourists in your own neighborhood. Go to one of the major sites, take photos, and pretend you are seeing this place for the first time.
  • Throw a slumber party for two. Have dinner in bed and have each other for dessert.

Other Connection Groups

New Connection Groups are forming regularly. Some groups are born out of a particular need, while others are created as Connection Church members grow in fellowship and discover common interest.
